The world famous JVC North Sea Jazz Festival (Netherlands) was held in Rotterdam after its move from The Hague in 2006. The new “Ahoy” venue provided several halls with a capacity of over 10,000 was brimming with people delighted by the music of big name artists such as Jeff Beck, Stanley Clarke, Wayne Shorter and Joe Zawinul.

For the first time in years, the JVC Jazz Festival Newport was blessed with beautiful weather, allowing for a spectacular and historical summer outdoor festival.
The Prince of Monaco attended the pre-festival party held at the Casino Center Court and enjoyed John Pizzarelli’s father-son big band paying tribute to Frank Sinatra.

At the JVC Jazz Festival Warsaw, Branford Marsalis played on opening day to the jazz-loving Warsaw people and provided what is now hailed as possibly the year’s best performance.
